Rapid Prototyping

The Process

A Word About 3D Printing

3D Printing is one of the fastest growing technologies in the field of Rapid Prototyping. Starting with a 3D solid model in our CAD system, we are able to produce a prototype as large as 8" x 8" x 12". All prototypes are made using a durable ABS plastic utilizing the patented Fused Deposition Modeling Process.

The Benefits

Why Use 3D Printing Anyway?

3D Printing has many advantages over other technologies. benefits include:

  • Produces a quick and inexpensive working model
  • Strong ABS material that can be reworked and finished
  • Test the form, fit and function in real field tests and with snap fit capabilities
  • Lowered production costs and reduced revision expense = higher gross profit
  • Shorten design time and get to market quickly
  • Use as a marketing tool in meetings
