Job description:

New York based custom manufacturer and supplier of functional/decorative hardware servicing a diverse range of OEM accounts seeks Engineer to work in conjunction with and in support of the management team to strengthen and grow existing customer relationships and to solicit and develop new sales opportunities.

You will be actively involved in product design and will oversee improvements of standards, methods and procedures for developing, inspecting and evaluating finished products. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual that desires unlimited growth and is prepared to utilize technical expertise and entrepreneurial spirit to go out and "get it".

Job requirements:

Ideal Candidate must possess:

• BSME Degree
• Strong Working Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solid Edge (or Solid Works) or similar 2D/3D design/engineering software
• A strong, confident and self-motivated personality who can guarantee consistent, positive results without constant direction and/or supervision
• A passion to learn
• The ability and willingness to travel both domestically and abroad
• Exemplary command of the English language, both spoken and written
• Knowledge/Experience in design
• Use of graphic/visual software like Adobe Photoshop a plus
• Fluency in MS office (Word, Outlook & Excel)
• Experience with technical drawings and specifications
